iGOT Karmayogi online learning platform for Government Employees
Central Government has recently launched an integrated online training platform called ‘iGOT Karmayogi’ for continuous learning opportunities for lakhs of Government employees. The objective of this platform is to provide opportunities for Government employees to upgrade their skills and facilitate a people-centric approach.
The iGOT Karmayogi platform is a significant step towards ensuring that government employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their duties effectively. The platform provides anytime, anywhere, any device learning opportunities to government employees, making it easy for them to access training courses on-the-go.
The registration of users on iGOT is a continuous process, and progress is being made in this regard. A Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) named Karmayogi Bharat has been incorporated for owning, managing and maintaining the iGOT Karmayogi Platform. Ministries/Departments and Organizations of Government of India are designing and uploading online training modules on the iGOT Platform, for meeting the competency requirements of government employees.
The Government is also engaging with States for aligning their capacity building initiatives with the iGOT Karmayogi platform. This means that State Government employees could also benefit from the platform, helping to improve the overall quality of service delivery to citizens.
The iGOT Karmayogi platform covers a wide range of subjects, and courses are designed and uploaded dynamically continuously, as per assessed requirement. This ensures that government employees have access to up-to-date and relevant training courses that will help them carry out their duties effectively and efficiently.
In conclusion, the iGOT Karmayogi platform is a significant initiative taken by the Government to ensure that government employees have access to continuous learning opportunities. By upgrading the skills and knowledge of government employees, the Indian Government is taking steps towards creating a more efficient and people-centric public service delivery system.

(a) whether the Government has launched an integrated online training platform ‘iGOT Karmayogi’ to provide continuous learning opportunities for lakhs of Government employees to upgrade their skills and facilitate people-centric approach;
(b) if so, the details thereof including the progress made in this regard, so far;
(c) the other steps taken/being taken by the Government in this regard;
(d) whether the Government has proposed to include State Government employees also under the ambit of iGOT Karmayogi, if so, the details thereof and the action taken thereon; and
(e) the details of number of courses designed and available on the said platform so far?

(a) & (b): Yes. The iGOT Karmayogi is an online learning platform which has been developed to facilitate continuous anytime, anywhere, any device learning opportunities to government employees. Registration of users on iGOT is a continuous process.
(c): A Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) named Karmayogi Bharat has been incorporated for owning, managing and maintaining the iGOT Karmayogi Platform.
