Job Opportunities for Retired Government Employees: Engagement as Consultants in CSD Mumbai

The Canteen Stores Department (CSD) has invited applications from retired officials for engagement as consultants at ASO (Assistant Section Officer) and Assistant Manager levels. The details of the recruitment are as follows:

Number of Consultants to Be Engaged

Five (5) positions are available for ASO and Assistant Manager-level consultants.
The number may vary based on requirements and financial implications.

Age Limit

Applicants should not have attained the age of 62 years as of the closing date of the application.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered:

Retired Status:
- Should have retired as ASO/Assistant Manager-level officers or equivalent from any Ministry/Department or its attached/subordinate offices of the Central Government.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of service rules, regulations, noting, and drafting.
Computer Skills:
- Should have working knowledge of computer applications required for day-to-day functioning of an office.
Additional Knowledge:
- Experience in inventory management and understanding of legal issues will be an added advantage.
