7th CPC: Finmin approved for upgradation of grade pay for Railway Employees working in GP Rs. 4600: AIRF

Dear Comrades,

Sub: Upgradation of the staff working in erstwhile GP Rs.4600(Level-7 of the 7^th CPC Pay Matrix) to next GP of Rs.4800 and 5400(Level-8 and 9 of the 7^th CPC Pay Matrix)  

As a result of vigorous persuasions of AIRF with the Ministry of Railways as well as DoP&T and MoF(DoE), the proposal of the Railway Ministry(Railway Board), regarding upgradation of the pay scales of the Supervisors from erstwhile GP Rs.4600 up to Rs.5400, has been approved by the Finance Ministry as per announcement of Hon’ble Minister for Railways, today during Video Conference.
