POSTS UNDER THE DEPARTMENTS/MINISTRIES
1883 # SHRI IMRAN PRATAPGARHI:

Will the PRIME MINISTER be pleased to state:

(a) the total number of posts under the Departments/Ministries of the Central Government including Autonomous and other constitutional bodies as on 1st December 2022;

(b) the details of the number of these which are lying vacant, Ministry/Department-wise;

(c) posts notified by Government under the Departments/Ministries of the Central Government including Autonomous and other constitutional bodies in the calendar years 2021 and 2022, the number of these which have been filled?

MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES
AND PENSIONS AND MINISTER OF STATE IN THE PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE

(a) & (b): As per the Annual Report of Department of Expenditure, the details of total number of posts and posts lying vacant under various Ministries/Departments of the Central Government, as on 01.03.2021, are at Annexure. Data is centrally maintained only in respect of employees of Central Ministries/Departments.

(c): Vacancies are notified based on the requirements given by the user Ministries/Departments, each year. Number of candidates recruited by UPSC, SSC and RRB from 01.04.2021 to 01.12.2022 is 107788
