One Rank One Pension (OROP) is a pension scheme for retired armed forces personnel in India. The scheme ensures that all retirees within the same rank and with the same length of service receive the same pension, regardless of when they retired. The OROP scheme was implemented by the Indian government in 2015, after many years of demands and protests by veterans. It is still a pending issue in India and veterans are still protesting for its complete implementation.
